Sinopsis

“La Huerta” is the name for the fertile plain around Valencia that lies at the heart of Mediterranean agriculture. After surviving for centuries, it has started to fall into a spiral of decline and seen vast swathes of irrigated land disappear over recent decades. “La Huerta is dying,” complain farmers like Antonio Ramón, who is determined to pass on his knowledge of the land to his daughter, Inma, and teach her the secrets to growing tiger nuts. As the earth turns on its axis, Camagroga follows Antonio and Inma through a year in their life. An elegy to the land, hard work, passing on wisdom and standing firm.
