Brothers

Sinopsis

Lukas feels absolute admiration for his older brother, Alexandre. When Alexandre sets off on a road trip to France, Lukas decides to join him and follow him forever. Through the brothers' gazes, their physical closeness and their relationship with the landscape, Brothers explores the limits of identity. The structure of the film, marked by jumps in time, seems to emerge from Lukas's memory and from images of a recollection that the passage of time has transformed, lost or reimagined. From the presence of the brother to his absence and shadow, from the night lights of Amsterdam to the wild landscape of rural France, the journey of Brothers leaves the viewer imbued with the challenges, hesitations and risks of the protagonists.
