Sinopsis

A study of line and form in the music of Frédéric Chopin. Germain Dulac aims to visually recreate the motifs of Chopin's Prelude in B flat, which, according to George Sand, was inspired by a grey and rainy day at La Grande Chartreuse described in her Winter in Mallorca, like the melodious sound of rain hitting the tiled roof.
