François Truffaut
Antoine Doinel, the protagonist of The 400 Blows, is 17 years old, lives in Paris and works in a record factory. At a Beethoven concert, he sees the young Colette in the audience and falls in love. They meet, go for walks, go to the cinema, exchange records and books, attend music lectures, talk about stereo systems over coffee... René, his childhood friend, shares his romantic adventures and misadventures.
