Marguerite Duras
An uninterrupted tracking shot filmed from inside a car. From the end of the night until dawn, from the Bastille to the Champs-Élysées, passing through Boulevard des Italiens, Avenue de l'Opéra and Rue de Rivoli, a deserted Paris is revealed to the voice of Marguerite Duras. In Les mains négatives, Duras creates literature beyond the book, where the boundary between fiction and documentation becomes obsolete.
