Agnès Varda introduces us to a young homeless woman who has died after a winter night. Through a flashback, we see her last months of life, the decisions that led her to her end, and how she behaved towards society and the people who accompanied her. The director, exposing the truth from the outset, captures raw, cold, almost documentary-like images that invite reflection and earned her the Golden Lion at Venice in 1985.
